Implement GetPixel() and GetColor() methods

Expression Blend "Pixel Bender"
A simple pixel shader editor along the lines of Adobe Pixel Bender for creating custom effects. RenderMonkey and FX Composer are overkill and a bit complicated.

Publish a modern Web 2.0 Application sample built using SL
We all know that primary reason for choosing SL over HTML /JS is the ease of development in C#, XAML tooling and powerful-consistent layout controls. However; Web Applications are mainly defined by their cool graphics, textual fidelity, and hip control styles (such as high fidelity buttons and drop down lists ,see Facebook drop down list styles) as well as snappy screen transition. Silverlight does not expose tooling which allows getting to that level out of the box. Add Launch dialog
The standard IE download dialog allows the user to launch a file (with the program associated with the file extension.) Currently you can download a file with Silverlight, but there is not way to launch it once it has been saved to the local file system. This forces the user to manually browse for the file which isn't very friendly. Ideally you'd be able to show a launch dialog and pass it a previously created file handle.

Client side "Session" state support
There is no clean way to manage 'browser-session-scoped' client side data.
Cookies are too small.
Isolated storage is 'per-user' and not 'per-browser-session'.In addition to persistant model, Isolated storage extention with a private bucket associated with browser session (and life-time) will be very valuable.

Allow UI data binding to bind to internal properties, not just public properties
You should be able to bind UI Elements to properties with an internal access modifier, assuming they're in the same assembly of course. Currently you're forces to declare you're properties as public if you want to use UI data binding. This forces you to expose more of your API than may be required.
