That's the reason I moved to Silverlight, and using WPF just for desktop-only apps.

This would benefit us, our team, and ultimately our clients.

Yes please so we don't need to duplicate our work that we have done.

We need to provide a WPF application as part of our solution, and the support of WCF RIA Services in WPF (with a Prism-based sample ideally) would make this much simpler.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?! shouldn't be more than re-linking the classes in a full .net class library, or not?

Absolutely, it would benefit the developer into targetting different platforms.

Please implement RIA Services in WPF

Why would you not support RIA services for WPF? A brain-dead decision by marketeers?

It will be a great help to have common code base

      • Zebra commented  ·

        Sure, it's mandatory!

        Yes! Yes! Yes!

I need this to have single service for WPF, Silverlight and Windows Phone

it is good thing to implement, but personally silverlight support is enough for making LOB applications.
